Make it Happen!

January is great for a lot of reasons: fuzzy sweaters, new episodes of your favorite television shows, and the snow (before it turns into NYC sludge). However, one of the things we love most about January are the resolutions and reinventions. It's a chance for a fresh start, and a great way to overhaul any old routines you might have. In this story for Oprah Magazine, styled by the wonderful Molly Fitzsimons (assisted by Alex Broderick), illustrated by Julia Rothman, and photographed by Peter Rosa, we're given some useful tips on how to do just that. Whether it's updating your blog, or finally (finally!) crossing off that item on your to-do list, this feature shows us how. What we also love about this spread are the gorgeous props and illustrations! Molly tells us that this story was super fun and also creatively challenging, knowing that her props would ultimately be paired with hand lettering and illustration. Well, we think Molly pulled it off fantastically!
