Activist Art

Photographer David Lewis Taylor worked with artist and activist Sebastian Li to bring attention to the pollution that plagues our waterways.

Li collected plastic caps, straws, drug bags, ropes and other synthetic discards that washed ashore in Hempstead Bay. The artist envisioned graphic compositions that would invite investigation and discussion on this issue of global importance that affects the well being of local ecosystems.
